Install PhotosArtist.


Prerequisites: your computer must correspond to the software requirements written on the website’s download page.

The downloaded software is a .zip archive for Mac and a .exe for PC.

In both cases the first step is to unzip the archive containing the installer for PhotosArtist.
We encourage you to unzip it to your desktop.

ATTENTION, with Mac, the PhotosArtist software will not work if your system disk’s name contains accented characters. We are currently working on fixing this issue.

 

Sur Mac :


Step 1 :
Note: If your Mac is set to unzip archives automatically after download, go directly to step 3.

Locate the following archive (the icon might be different).

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 


Step 2:

Just double-click on the .zip and it will be automatically unzipped.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 


Step 3:

The unzipped archive contains the PhotosArtist installer.

Step 4:
Double-click on the installer.
It will ask for your username and password (those of your admin account for this computer).

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 

 

Step 5:

The installer asks which language you want to install among the available ones.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 

 

Step 6:

On the welcome screen, click “Next”.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 

 

Step 7:

The installation is ready to start. Click “Next”.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 


Step 8:

That’s the perfect time to get a coffee, with or without sugar, for the installation process will take quite a while… ;-)

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 

 

Step 9:
If you’re not done with your coffee yet, it’s time to hurry up because the installation process is over.
You can directly launch PhotosArtist from the dialog box by leaving the default box checked and clicking “Finish”.

Step 10:
There is a shortcut to launch PhotosArtist whenever you want to on your desktop. When the software is launched for the first time, it will ask you to accept the end-user licence.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 


The software is located in the Applications folder of your Mac, in the PhotosArtist subfolder...
Important note: you should not try to rename either the folder or any of its elements, including the application itself. You should not move it elsewhere either.

If you ever want to uninstall PhotosArtist (?), an uninstaller is located under /Applications/PhotosArtist/.
 

 

Sur PC :


Step 1:

Step 3:

The installation process might take a while depending on your computer’s performances, for PhotosArtist is a true and substantial software ;-).

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 

 

Step 4:
Once the installation is done, you will be asked whether you want to start PhotosArtist directly or not. This is no obligation, just a possibility.
 
The installer will create a “PhotosArtist” folder in your Start menu, where you will find a shortcut for PhotosArtist.exe.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  

 


The application is located in the Programs folder of your PC, in the PhotosArtist subfolder.
