1.3 Version

The Models

PRIOR: When you download PhotosArtist-Vertige (full version or upgrade), no model is installed. You may need to download from the software (see the section "Downloading models" in this page).

Applying a model:

Click on « Choose a model ».

The scrolling preview contains all possible models.
To apply a model, click on it in the scrolling preview. You have to place your photos and texts prior to this.

BEFORE :

AFTER :

ADJSUT IF NECESSARY :

IT'S DONE!

Saving a model:

You have made a page you want to save as a template.

Once you’ve created your double-page how you wanted it, you’ll have to click on « Save as model » to save it.

A window will open to request you a name pour the model and to associate it, if you want to, to a theme.

Attention, this button « Save as model » only works in a double-page or in a cover, and doesn’t work in both first and last pages.

On the other hand, you can apply a model to every page (first, last, cover or double-page).

Downloading models:

Click on « Choisir un modèle ». The scrolling preview contains all the possible models.

To download the available models, click on « Télécharger de nouveaux modèles ».

If there are new models available, a window containing progress bars opens and shows that the models are being downloaded. Once they’re downloaded, you’ll find them in the scrolling preview.
That will download all the models you don’t possess yet. Think of clicking regularly on this button to avoid having a very big list of models to download, once a week for example.
If no new models are available, the window indicates that there’s no result.

Copying/pasting decoration elements:

General rule:

Two buttons will allow us to copy a double-page element to another double-page from the same or a different album.
These buttons are:

Copy effect:

Paste effect:

When copying, the current toolbar will determine which will be the copied element.
Similarly, when pasting, it’s the toolbar which will determine the element to be pasted.
You can then, copy various elements consecutively as long as they are from different types. In reality, if you copy an element after copying another of the same type, the latter will be conserved as the copied element.
You’ll be able then to paste these elements in different ways in the same or in another album, in the order that you choose.

Example: if you copy a background and a text-effect, you can paste the text-effect over a double-page and then paste the background over another double-page. You only need to pay attention in which toolbar you find yourself in order to paste the desired element.
This means that you have to be at the “background” toolbar to paste the background and then be at “text-effect” toolbar to paste the text-effect.
